After the flood in Yellowstone, June of 2022, we were unsure of what to expect when it came to animal viewing. Lamar Valley was closed, but Hayden Valley did not disappoint..
I was sitting in the front seat of our car, camera out the window, watching the bison cross the road when this guy, later named, Gary, stopped right next to me and posed. There were many other close encounters but Gary continues to be my favorite.
